Installing lower unit water pump | Mercury Outboard 150 hp | Impeller Kit | By Farhad

Installation of lower unit water pump. Price of part $54.99 @ Cobe Marine, Pasadena, MD. This is an informational video. Please proceed at your own risk.
The process to replace pump is almost same for most of Mercury and Mercruiser units, some units use rubber seal that goes on top of water pump assembly (Thanks to JP) for pointing that but this unit doesn’t use a rubber seal. Link to Crowley’s Marine Mercury lower unit set up listed below.

JP says:

You're missing a rubber for the top that sits on the water pump, And a bolt that goes in the back. It's best to always change the bottom seal to keep water out of the lower. just my two cents.
