Does your Wrangler have an annoying Click or Creek noise when backing out of a parking space ? Maybe this could be the fix.

I developed what appears to be a clicking/rattling sound in the areas of the driver A-pillar or dash after an off-road trip. Checked the driver side window, door, A-pillar plastic cover but no source. Happens with normal driving on bumps or smooth roads now. Never had it before. Will check out the outside A-pillar cowl as you did and see if that helps. Thanks for the informative video.
I love how you drop your hood down, let us know when that damages something….
Thanks for the video, I'll have to check mine at that spot. I don't mean to criticize, but if I may suggest when loosening the Torx bolts, do not use a drill, as you have a really good chance the drill will pop out because the bolt is painted / corroded and will not come out that easily. Consequently the drill will skip out of the bolt and scratch your nice new Jeep. Obviously yours were lose, but anyone watching this video might get the idea to use a drill and will do a number on his rig's paint job. Cheers.
Thank you for the Video, this did fix my rattle / pop I was hearing for a year and could not find or fix. Very happy with my jeep now.
my dads has one once and a while. but it sounds like its from the back but maybe its from around the windshield
Mine does the same, but only when I hit the bump on the way into my drive, it does sound like its from just above my head in the roll bar, and is a bit more like a pop/knock sound, but still fairly similar to yours. Nobody has been able to work it out, but it doesn't bother me, its just a quirk I've got used to, but I'll try this out and see if it makes a difference
Man I feel your pain in finding this out. Is crap like this that keeps us car people from getting a good night's sleep! Lol
Thanks dude….this sort out my problem..it was more lik criecket sound when going at low speed…
Thanks alot
My 15 Jeep Wrangler have the same click sound on the right front side, i figured out the click sound was from the bottom of the antenna area, when you push the fender, then the click will happen.
You wouldn't happen to have a solution for the strange foot well leaks? I keep coming up with wet carpet in both passenger and driver side footwells. I have no idea whats causing this. Not sure if you have ever experienced it or know someone that has?
My does a similar noise underneath but i can't figure out where exactly, because sometimes it makes it on the passenger side sometimes in the driver sometimes in front or the back… it only does it when i take off… it really is annoying me…
Nicely done video, but it's a jeep and jeeps make noises where other vehicles disguise them insulation and sound deadening.
I have a similar noise and it started when I put on my side steps. When I tighten the bolts underneath the cab I get the creaky noise. When I loosen the nuts it seems to go away. Thing is, I don't want to leave the nuts loose, but I don't want the interior creaky noise either. What should I do?
I put some thin weather stripping on the piece u took off all along the contact area.Stopped the noise completely on mine.
Can't wait to go home and try this. I've got an annoying creaking that I though was coming from by passenger side door. I bet this is where it's coming from. Thanks for the video. Q
take your door mirrors off to see if there is dirt and corrosion on them, I `ve seen 2 that have them because of the stupid foam gasket sealing the mirror to the door. instead of a rubber seal.
I would have just cut a small thin piece of rubber and put that behind it. That would have brought the bracket out away from the others. You would never notice it and it would be good.
My daughter's Rubicon makes that sound, I wonder if it's the same thing?!
You have beautiful wheels on your jeep
It looks like you lost your Jeep climbing the hill on the windshield!! You could have even used a small hammer to hit the wood. That kind of complaint was very common to see and fix when I was a body tech. You actually went about fixing it the same way a body man would have, minus the light hammer use.
Maybe you can help me with my jeep squeaking sound. Its my most recent video if you don't mind please take a look!
i have the same click

My jeep Jk clicks and creeks all the time off-roading haha.
It's a jeep thing!!
You have the patients of Job!
I love your Jeep videos! Are you thinking about adding aftermarket parts like tires, liftkits, or bumpers?
How do you have leather seats on your sport model jeep?
great tip fiero she still looken showroom new !
Do u still have the mustang?
Thanks bud! My clicks ended up being valve stems that were left in my tires when the shop swapped in the TPMS. Can't make this stuff up. Looks like you got yours resolved, fingers crossed. Thanks again. -RenegadeUL13
