Thanks for the video, I was able to replace rear right mount on my 2007 Mazda 3. Had to place tip of shock in a vice in order to remove/tighten nut at top of shock which holds the mount in place, as I do not have an air gun.
broke bolt off rear mount. what's best way to fix it without going to garage?
not common at all lol… ive done many of these and usualy have to work the upper nuts back and forth alot with lube and many times the lower bolt seizes to the bushing and getting it out can be a tricky situation that results in a sawzall and cutting off the welded nut and nut and bolting it
is that all rust?
So, I'm confused. I always thought or heard that an impact is better on rusted bolts than a socket. Has anyone ever done a study. I've tried both and either way have to go to my mechanic with my tail between my legs to drill and replace the bolts and part. I always use pen lube and anti seize. Never thought of using antiseize to remove a bolt have to try that but they break from the get go.
Hi Jim what spray do you use? nice video.
Very well made????
