I have some questions,I own a 1999 Alero and im wondering the specs on both the door speakers and the back ones
Good vid, I just replaced with the paper speakers in my friends Alero with the same Kickers…not bad speakers for 30 bucks.
I’m sure there are better options now. The kickers weren’t bad though.
I think they are 6x8s or 6x9s
Would you recommend the kicker speakers still or should I bump up the price?

For the screw behind the reflector, just pry the reflector out and unscrew it. 🙂
I’m putting in all new speakers, and a new receiver. This looks like a pain in the ass…. I’ll just save myself some head pounding and pay to have it done and let them deal with the shit fest! lol
Yea kickers suck man and that reflector should pop off with a flat head im replacin a friends so ill find out but its good to see u didnt have to fabricate too much to get it in there if u got the one with tweeters id look at getting a component system thanks tho

The ones I got are okay. I think the factory ones may have been a little better but I’m probably just remembering them better than they really were. You would be better off asking someone at a store who has experience with a lot of different brands.
okay thank you. also what were they like sound wise? I dont know car speakers that well, so I dont know exactly how to word the question. Like I know my back speakers are 8 ohms, so Im curious what the door speakers are

all american cars are held on by gum, duct tape, and paper clips. lol. My aleros the same way

man that is best thing about having an alero. If you cant get something apart just break it off.
