My hubby bought a 1985 classic, it had rotten sills, rotten rear
crossmember, rotten inner wings all round. But the chassis was completely
sound and it had a 300 tdi engine in it with a blown head gasket. He
rebuilt it bolt by bolt and 13 yrs later we still have her. They key to
having a Range Rover is constant maintenance keep on top of any rot and
problems and they will last for years!!
