I used Golf Club Epoxy. Since I build golf clubs I had it on hand. I used
beaded epoxy and regular and mixed them. Since I know how to build clubs. I
know that under heat epoxy melts. So if I ever have to replace the window
or motor I can torch it for a couple seconds and the window will come right
out.
that happened to my rear door on my ram… would it be the same thing?
Thank goodness your an A/C addict, I would go crazy if I couldn’t roll my
window down for months. Good work bud
Nice to see it working, but wouldn’t a rubber cement or that thick foamy
rubber double sided tape (made by 3M) work better? I mean. . . in the
future when you need to replace that motor with the mechanism, how are you
or the future owner going to take it out with out braking the glass?
Some company here in nj makes a very durable window caulking. I did the
samething on my f250 and havent had a problem yet
Damn…… I bet thats whats wrong with my window lol Guess ill be going to
the parts store this week!!
thanks man
those clips idk if you can see it in the video unbolt from that track, they
are factory glued to the window in the first place and not meant to come
off glass, so it shouldn’t be an issue
Wow Thanks! This just happened to Dodge ram too! Froze and came off the
clips when I tried to lower it one night. Now I just have to go and get
some JB Weld. 😀
Thanks Man! Works perfect!
