Absolute lifesaver THANK YOU!!!!!!!
good job
These guys are amazing !!
The seatbelt working mechanically has nothing to do with the code you are
getting or the seatbelt pretensioner being good or bad. You need to remove
the shorting clip, then test with an OHM meter to get the proper reading.
IF you find that your seatbelt tensioner is bad you can contact us for
replacement parts. We sell most replacement parts from $15 to $30 depending
on what you need. Send us an email and with some photos of what you are
working on. Take a couple of different angles of the seatbelt part and we
can tell from that what replacement part you need. Most everyone is
repairing their own seatbelt tensioners these days. This will really cut
down on the cost repairing them yourself. Instructions avail.
Are your seatbelts locked up? Then if so, you need to work on the
pretensioner part to get it to release. The tensioners have parts that also
need to be replaced before the seatbelt will function properly again. You
can repair this yourself and most of the replacement parts we sell range
from $15 – $30 and your seatbelt is like new again. For more information on
seatbelts we have other repair details visit our web site.
Im getting a high resistance alarm on my Audi A5 pretensioners after an
accident. However, the belt works. I checked the pretensioner pins and they
are shorted. Should i not be getting a short, or should i be getting a
certain resistance?
