I have a 2000 Plymouth Voyager 2.4L. On mine I have to remove that collar you moved to the side and also the front engine mount.
Thats what happens in canadian cars!!!
I have a 2000 Plymouth Voyager 2.4L. I see that bracket (I beleive it was the collar to the transaxle) that you removed the bolt on and pushed out of the way, but the Haynes manual says for me to remove the front engine mount bracket also. Do I have to do this too?
Great video. It helped me change my oil pan gasket that was leaking on my 05 Grand Caravan. Bought the gasket and got underneath and realized that a few bolts were not tight. I didn’t chance it and just replaced the gasket anyway. I didn’t use the guides that came with it. They kept getting in the way of getting the pan backup up there and seating it properly. Anyway, thanks again!
Watch it! – working on ramps is not recommended – may have to move a few things out of the way like exhaust
I need to remove the oil pan (not really replace) on a 1981 z28 camaro and i only have wheel ramps, i was wondering if this would be enough clearance or if i would need to lift the motor? Great instrucional video btw!!!
that`s a good question
There is a good chance if it was made from the same supplier – but I can’t say if they used the same supplier for both – Chrysler is famous for having many suppliers for the same parts.
Does this problem occur on all 3.3 litre units EG 2009 Dodge Dakota
Nice vid, what happed to sean kane? The guy disappeared from the radar.
