this also fixes the problem of oil leaks too? on the driver’s side to be
more specific.
Great video. Short and sweet. Save me time.
Hey i understood everything you said, Thanks you forsaving me 4 hours in a
garage!! Nagyon Koszom :)_
so i want to change my tensioner, any ideas if im going in right direction?
hopefully you will sorted soon,is your car with turbo?
no problem
nigga why you sound like a texas inst speak and learn? et phone home brother
BOLTS EVERYWHERE LOL
Im not even sure if pasats made before year 2000 have been equiped with
variable timing controllers. So my best bet goes with tensioner. Ill keep u
posted anyway. Cheers
yeah i started with simple things like lak of air or fuel. But problem is
to… regular. There is no gain of power/torque after 3000 rpms. And there
is massive gain of fuel consumption when u pass 3000 rpms. Like i mentioned
earlier im good with my cars they got a lot of tlc and also i have access
to fully equiped garage so im just getting there by eliminating things. Ill
be checking chain on next friday, and probably replacing tensioner if i
manage to get one from scrapayard.
hát igen.a tiéd is 🙂
hát igen.a tiéd is 🙂
thats not the tensioner i think.i changed mine cause it had a very loud
chain noise.does nothing with rpm.
you sound like steven hawkins voice modulator
well not much left for me to check really, I did flow meter, throtle valve,
I checked cylinders pressures, and a lot more, only thing left its damn vvt
and as far as i know is built in sensor in tensioner. Thanx 4 quick reply
mate. Definition of vvt fits my problems so ill go with that, thanx anyway.
16!
I want you to go in Hungary and learn Hungarian language and then U speak
in Hungarian and probably U will sound lake man on the Moon in 1969. I do
not know why U at list not comment when receive something free! By the way
I am not Hungarian.
let me know what was wrong. But i think ist an air leak somewhere.Did you
check it?
no turbo, some dodgy mechanician was refubrin engine 2 years ago and he did
a very bad job. No worries though, im quite good with cars/engines but damn
some problems are pain in the ass.. so only way of figureing out whats
going one is elimination. I think is tensioner or wrongly fited chain.
oh man nice video, it is just what i was looking for… Anyway why u had it
changed? Why im asking is i spend month just to find out whats wrong with
my 99 adr 1.8 petrol passat. Ive got lack of power above 3000rpm when
variable valve timing thing is connected… when i unplug it i got power
beyond 3000 rpm but it starts drinking fuel like mad and its still down on
power alittle bit. As far as i know that variable valve timing gives power
boost in low rpms and saves fuel in high rpm.
thanks man…:D
what the fuck you talking about?i am hungarian thats why my english is
shit, you should be glad cause i made this video to help people.
Got it sorted, whoever did timing belt in this car damaged gear that drives
belt and fitted it wrong way round it also wasnt properly timed (markings
on the gears and camshafts, havnt lined up). After fixing last mechanic
dodgy job, fuel consumption reduced by 1/3 and it got power back.
Magyar vagy?:) az akcentusod egy kicsit magyarra emlékeztet:)) üdv: egy
Passat-os
Oh man I’m loving your accent. thumbs up ma man.
